With a good few years agency experience, and a born-and-raised southerner (don’t hold it against me), I recently moved from Southampton to North Yorkshire where I join Sail as a Designer. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients across multiple sectors, from start-ups, arts and culture organisations, and SMEs, to global brands.

Since February 2019 I have co-hosted the Southampton chapter of Ladies, Wine & Design, a non-profit initiative to connect and empower our local creative community through free, accessible events, talks and workshops.

I have always been interested in placemaking; how I can use my skills to connect people and place, and create better spaces for people and communities to live, work and play. Often this has translated into self initiated projects and community workshops. For example, a collaborative, creative manifesto for Southampton, and a public outdoor event inviting families to become ‘future thinkers, future planners, and future designers’. Don’t be surprised if you see me out and about with a giant paintbrush in 2022!

Looking forward to 2022 and beyond, I am excited to:

  1. Get stuck in with our clients, working with them to design brands and campaigns that connect with their audiences and add value through creative problem solving
  2. Meet other creatives in the area and get back into the world of creative events – (HMU if you know of a talk or event I should go to!)
  3. Be a part of, and support the incredible Sail team making real world change through creativity.
